DEDICATION
DEDICATION – it is committed concentration.
Where you’re in agreeance with an ideal, a person, or a task,
You swear allegiance that the deal will be done when they ask.
It’s stating, without hesitating…
‘I’ll stand guard’,
‘I’ll work hard’,
‘One more yard’,
‘Punch my card’.
DEDICATION – it’s about passion, even when it’s out of fashion.
You vow to go on,
Though the crowd is all gone.
It’s grinding it out for the cause, without pause,
Never minding about flaws or applause.
You show DEDICATION to principles, professions, and partners,
You bestow the designation to miracles, mentions, and martyrs.
It’s emotion in motion,
It’s devotion to devotions.
It can be a tribunal declaration of parents, God, and baby,
They stand free in a communal celebration of inherent laud and safety.
It’s when an author on the front page of a book,
Does pen an honour of font praise for outlook.
It is being the one to contend,
I’m seeing this out to the end.
Yes, DEDICATION is Divine-motivation.
Please note, it does not always make sense,
To devote what you’ve got to days of expense…
Of giving it all to that something or someone,
Off living pitfall to upswing ‘till you’re done.
But when you reach that fateful destination,
Amen, your speech grateful to DEDICATION.
