ENDURE

ENDURE – though the future’s unsure.

And you’re doubtful you can keep going,
And you’re fearful of the not knowing.

Still…

ENDURE – though you feel insecure.

And you only have enough energy to lie there,
And you’re lonely, roughed up and wondering - why care?    

Nonetheless…

ENDURE – though giving up has its allure.

And your trial has lasted far too long,
And all the wile has done you wrong.

Yet…

ENDURE – though there is no cure.

And your illness has taken its toll,
And your will has forsaken your soul.

You must…

ENDURE – though it seems obscure.

And you believe it’s useless,
And you perceive it’s fruitless.  

It’s not, so…

ENDURE – your resolve will inure.

To ENDURE is to suffer patiently and to remain in existence,
It is to out last a troubling time or a torturous thing with persistence.

When you ENDURE you keep possibility alive,
You inspire others and allow hope to thrive.

So, if…
You’re in pain or in prison,
You’re persecuted or pressured,
You’re put out or poor… please…

ENDURE.
