HUMILITY
HUMILITY– it has utility.
It is a modest interpretation of one’s prominence,
It is the broadest accommodation of some dominance.
It’s prioritizing, as you ought, others with respect,
It’s internalizing, that you’re not, the only one correct.
It’s an appealing attribution of maturity,
It’s a revealing resolution of security.
Remember, descents and durations of futility,
Forever cements foundations of HUMILITY.
Growing the ability to distinguish self-confidence from pride,
Knowing the agility to extinguish held pompousness inside.
HUMILITY is a trait that gains trust,
Its civility is a state that remains just.
Peacemakers perfect it as a tool,
Lawbreakers reject it like a fool.
It’s being coachable and aware,
It’s agreeing, approachable, and fair.
HUMILITY is obedience to the Lord,
Its gentility and subservience is adored.
It’s recognizing your limitations without defensiveness,
It’s exercising more reservation of one’s own offensiveness.
It shapes compassion for humanity,
It escapes the fashion of your vanity.
To acquire ideal tranquillity,
Desire to feel HUMILITY.
