IT’S YOUR CHOICE,
Be silent or a voice.

Ignore the wrong around you,
Or stand strong for something true.

Live in discontentedness and denial,
Or cooperate; be polite; say hello and smile.

You can give up and give in,
Or bear down and begin.

IT’S YOUR CHOICE,
Complain or rejoice.

Be hateful for what you didn’t get,
Or be hopeful you just haven’t got it yet.

Seek out a greater purpose,
Or never scratch the surface.   

Make time to listen and learn,
Or cut the line and steal your turn.

IT’S YOUR CHOICE,
Be reason or noise.

Put down and disgrace,
Or lift up the human race. 

Choose love; be more,
Or drop gloves and make war.

These small decisions can make a big change,
The effect of short sight has a long range. 

At times, it appears like you don’t have the power to choose,
But when there’s no option to win; you can decide how you’ll lose.  

And I know emotions run high, and feelings dip low,
Ruining your rational sense of control…

However, you must remember you still have a selection,
To either derive a mess or strive for perfection. 

Hopefully you’ll try to make things noice,
But that’s up to you… IT’S YOUR CHOICE.
