WHY CRY?
Perhaps a physio-logical reason for crying is that negative feelings elicit a type of metabolic waste in the brain/thoracic cavity which gathers in the lymphatic/glymphatic system and the body needs to remove these toxins ASAP - as well as replenish lipid and protein molecules to build good hormones - so it reacts by crying and breathing hard to stimulate drainage and circulation of these fluids.
